Healthcare Practice Alighment Bill

The Healthcare Practice Alignment Bill has been introduced by the Hawaiʻi State Center for Nursing in the 2026 Hawaiʻi legislature. Senate Bill SB2491 and the companion House Bill HB1857 propose updates to over 200 Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes to ensure they accurately reflect the current scope of practice for various healthcare providers, including APRNs, and do not inadvertently restrict their practice.
