APRN Jury Duty Exemption bill
has been introduced at the 2026 Hawai'i legislature. Senate Bill, SB2025, and companion House Bill, HB1534, will allow for actively practicing APRNs to elect exemption from jury duty as is currently allowed for physicians and dentists.
Register at the legislative website,https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/ , to review, track, be notified of bill hearing schedules and provide testimony in support of bills.

SB2025, the Senate version, will be heard by the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on Friday, January 30th at 3:00 pm. Be sure to submit testimony in support by Thursday to assure that it is read prior to the hearing.
