Perspectives in Malignant Hematology: Multiple Myeloma

Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematologists/oncologists, oncology nurses, oncology nurse practitioners, and oncology pharmacists.

The overall goal of this interactive, virtual meeting is to provide comprehensive, practical education to members of the community-based team who care for patients with hematologic malignancies so they can integrate new data, therapies, and best practices into their daily practices.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Current treatment approaches for patients with hematologic malignancies
    • Adverse events associated with current therapies for patients with hematologic malignancies
    • Emerging treatment strategies for hematologic malignancies
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Using biomarkers to guide therapy for patients with hematologic malignancies
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Personalize treatment for patients with hematologic malignancies
