Urgent Need! Governor's Speakers Bureau - Nurses Needed

Posted about 4 years ago

Dear Nursing Colleagues,

The Governor’s office is asking for assistance in finding qualified nurses on every island to be part of a speaker's bureau. This speaker's bureau is tasked with communicating to public groups (LTCs, preschools, community groups, etc), official updates from the State on Coronavirus, explain what is going on, and provide information on what can be done by individuals to protect the community and themselves.

The Governor's Office identified nurses because of their established knowledge in health care and their ability to communicate well to people.

Can you help us by identifying individuals on each island that you may know who may be willing to serve on a speaker's bureau? Their names, island, credentials and/or place of employment, and contact information is what we would like to gather, initially. We will create a formalized communication to them informing them of the opportunity and seeking their interest.

We hope to have a quick response. Please email Bradley Kuo at bradleykuonp@gmail.com to provide the requested information.
