Nurse Practitioner Week Proclamation 2019

Hello HAPN,

I am excited to announce that our AANP State Representative, Laura Reichhardt, was successful in her work with Governor Ige and Lieutenant Governor Green to recognize November 10-16, 2019, as Nurse Practitioner Week.  

Nurse Practitioners (NP) are trusted frontline health care providers, highly skilled with advanced education and training, and with 1,231 NPs working in the State of Hawaii, we continue to support the healthcare needs of our communities.  We have been active with legislation to increase access to care for all residents of Hawaii.
